VM (acronym of Virtual Machine)

VM is an abbreviation for virtual machine. This term is related to the Virtualization (Simultaneous use of multiple operating systems in one ordinatinateur). It includes all the hardware components simulated (Processor, RAM, périphyériques input - output, disk space hard ...). The virtualization software manages the entire system for each operating into believing he is the only user of these resources. Intel VT-X with AMD and the AMD-V include a management specific hardware directly implanted in their current processors to bfaciliter this feature.
