Windows Seven
Last born in November 2009 operating systems for
personal computer Microsoft,
Windows 7 includes the same features and administration than his predecessor,
Vista. It is however less demanding on memory resources.
Different versions are proposed:
-
Starter, reserved for countries
emerging in practice but not distributed.
-
Family Basic (equivalent to Vista
home basic), also restricted to small structures, only sold as an OEM for
major manufacturers of PC but not distributable to the standard assemblers.
-
Seven Home Premium, standard
version for the general public which includes the Aero interface
-
Business (Professional), identical to
the previous version, but also incorporates the ability to connect to
Microsoft's servers
-
Enterprise (subscription only for large
accounts) and Ultimate (Ultimate) are now equivalent.
Besides the first two, are all available in 32
or 64 bits. As previously, the N versions without Media Players are
proposed in Europe for european compliance but not distributed in practice.
For news, note the Homegroup
functioning as working in home networks only for simplified sharing of
documents, music, photos, ... and devices but also a new bar start ultimately
more disturbing than helpful. Windows Mail is no longer included in the
installation but the version included in Vista is compatible. A free solution is
to use Thunderbird.
