Computer Rack
 Also known Bay, a computer rack comes as cabinet
format (width) 19 inches ("). One inch equals 2.54 cm. Internally, two bars
brackets are separated by 18 ".
The available heights are expressed in units (U for
short). One unit equals 1.75 inches or 44.45 millimeters.
The 19-inch racks are used in rooms computer networks
and communications for fixing Servers, Hub, switch, router, firewall hardware
and equipment security (UPS). Network servers are the most compact 1 U, they are
typically used for rooms showing accommodation Internet. Additional equipment
are used as Bay patch (grouping of cables) even
in the picture.
The professional audio equipment (DJ, equipment in
concert hall , audio records) also use this standard.
The current size of bays are high 2, 3, 4 or 5
units. Some cabinets are up to 33 U or more.
