The
inverter is a component used in flat
screen LCD and TFT. It is
an electronic board that transforms a DC voltage of 12 volts (most common) to a
voltage of around 1000 volts AC (with the clock synthesizer for continuous
conversion - alternative to the right frequency to periodically refresh the
screen ). This card is required to power the neon tube, filling the entire
bottom of the screen, head of the brightness.
This is the component most commonly broken on a
flat screen TFT with clock
synthesizer, including a laptop. By default, there is no display or a very
small picture very dark, even large variations in brightness.
It is also the name given to UPS as all these converters.
Near: Video cards, LCD, TFT and CRT monitors.
