ATX Power Supply

Format of switching power supply used in PC Pentium II and following (replacing those type AT).

It provides output voltages of +5, +12,-5V - 12 V and +3.3 V Continuous. In the ATX power supply, the switch is connected to the motherboard. It is a signal from the motherboard that starts feeding. This implies that the motherboard is still power on.
