AECC (abbreviation of Advanced Error Correcting
Codes) is a method of detection and correction of the data in memory RAM. This
car-corrective technology uses additional bits and makes it possible to
detect until 4 errors and to repair them. Unfortunately, this technology
uses more resources than the methods standards, in particular the ECC which
makes it possible to detect and to correct an error. It is used only in some
high-end servers. The majority of the processors and chipsets do not accept this
mode of correction.
