AC'97 audio standard

AC'97 : Standard audio integrated sound cards today , including those directly implanted on motherboards standard circuits realtek , possibly connected to a computer bus AMR. This standard allows to use a generic driver with a standard codec , it is also used for phone modem . Developed by Intel but used by virtually all manufacturers of chipsets , this standard dates from 1997 . This standard allows the outputs to 5.1 and supports EAX 1.0, 2.0 , not following.
